My small artisan business is an area that I like to call Terre di Toscana (Lands of Tuscany) where tastes and colors are intense and satisfying.
The harmonious union between nature and civilization has made the Tuscan landscape famous. A place where one sees small country churches, castles and villas all blending into the diversified landscape.
The town of Grassina, while very historically or architecturally important, lies between two great entities:Florence and the land of The Black Rooster Chianti Wine (Chianti Gallo Nero).
The via Chiantigiana (state road 222) starts from Florence, passes through Grassina and Greve in Chianti and leads to Siena all the while travelling through a soft and green countryside.
Pleasant stops along this route are Panzano, Radda in Chianti, Castello di Brolio as well as the town of Impruneta famous all over the world for its beautiful earthenware. These places are renowned for their food and wine as well.
Ribollita - “twice boiled” Tuscan minestrone, the fiorentina – the Florentine style beefsteak, and Tuscan beans with extra virgin olive oil from our Tuscan hillsides, Chianti D.O.C. Wine can accompany you while learning more about the art and culture, the countryside and the craftsmanship of these Terre di Toscana.
Lands where tradition, genuineness and culture come together in a unique alchemy and pervade the activity of a small artisan business such as mine where work is a passion and cultural and historical traditions are highly valued.
